1. A method, comprising:
setting respective error handling (EH) flags based on media management data, wherein the media management data is associated with multiple error mechanisms of a memory device, and wherein the media management data includes data obtained via a read disturb scan that involves tracking an amount of reads for a block of memory cells;
determining a status of the EH flags; and
responsive to determining that at least one of the EH flags is set, performing a subset of a plurality of operations of a default EH flow,
wherein the subset of the plurality of operations of the default EH flow that are performed is based on which particular EH flags are set, and wherein each of the EH flags corresponds to a respective one of the plurality of operations of the default EH flow, and wherein the respective EH flags include:
a first EH flag having its status determined based on the read disturb scan; and
a second EH flag having its status determined based on a media scan separate from the read disturb scan.
