1. An information processing apparatus comprising processing circuitry configured to:
acquire a multi-dimensional objective variable;
compress the number of dimensions of the objective variable calculated based on a multiplication result of a plurality of bases characterizing the objective variable and a plurality of coefficients weighting the plurality of bases;
acquire an explanatory variable;
select two or more new objective variables from at least one of the plurality of bases and the plurality of coefficients and calculate an influence degree on the two or more new objective variables by performing calculation by a multi-learning method using the two or more new objective variables and the explanatory variable;
select two or more coefficients to be used as the two or more new objective variables among the plurality of coefficients; and
set the selected two or more coefficients to the two or more new objective variables.
