1. A method for configuring a random-access memory (RAM) for preventing access pattern attacks, the method comprising:
providing configuration settings of memory in the RAM on a graphical user interface indicating which memory regions of the RAM have protections from the access pattern attacks;
receiving an input indicative of a change to at least one of the configuration settings, wherein the input indicates which memory region of the memory regions of the RAM to enable or disable protection from the access pattern attacks; and
modifying, in response to receiving the change, the configuration settings based on the input.
