1. A pressure regulator seat configured to separate a flow of fluid passing through a pressure regulator in a downstream direction into at least two flow paths, comprising:
a seat body comprising:
a flange extending radially from an upstream edge of the seat body;
a projection disposed on an upstream surface of the flange and tapering in an upstream direction so as to separate the flow of fluid into the at least two flow paths; and
a throttling seat disposed on a downstream surface of the flange; and
a base disposed downstream of the seat body,
wherein the flange and the base form a chamber therebetween, and wherein the at least two flow paths are configured to enter the chamber.
