1. A frame assembly for an electrically conductive lens comprising:
an inner sub-frame housing defining a lens cavity and having a protrusion positioned above a first groove, wherein the protrusion is formed on and the first groove is formed on and extends along a peripheral edge of the inner sub-frame housing;
an outer sub-frame housing having a second groove on a peripheral edge of the outer sub-frame housing, wherein the outer sub-frame housing is configured to fasten onto the inner sub-frame housing so that the protrusion of the inner sub-frame housing fits into the second groove of the outer sub-frame housing;
the electrically conductive lens having a peripheral edge within a space formed by a surface of the outer sub-frame housing and the first groove of the inner sub-frame housing; and
a bonding agent disposed into the first groove.
