1. A flowmeter with a flow channel which can be attached to a pipeline through which a fluid flows and on which a measuring unit is held, which has at least two sensors spaced apart from one another, are designed as ultrasonic transducers, which transmit their measurement signals through at least one recess of the flow channel and coupled with a control unit accommodated in a control housing for activating the sensors and for processing the measurement signals, with a measuring channel realized by a multi-part measuring channel insert, which has at least a measuring channel upper part and a measuring channel lower part, which at least partially delimit a measuring channel section, wherein the measuring channel insert is configured to be inserted through the recess, wherein an inlet and an outlet insert which are attached to the measuring channel section are also configured to be inserted through the recess, wherein the length of the measuring channel section and the inserts is greater than the clear width of the recess.
