1. A method for monitoring and predicting CO2 emissions at a gas processing plant, comprising:
continuously acquiring a set of quantitative data related to one or more characteristics of a gas stream of each of a plurality of feed sources at the gas processing plant;
determining a correlation between the one or more characteristics and a measured CO2 emission for the gas processing plant;
using a prediction regression model, predicting an amount of total CO2 being emitted by the gas processing plant based on the set of quantitative data; and
based on the predicted amount of total CO2, adjusting a circulation rate of solvent in a gas treating solvent system.
