1. A system comprising:
a filament tube having a sidewall defining a filament passthrough and having a plurality of first vent holes extending through the sidewall;
a heating element positioned to heat a filament inside the filament tube;
a desiccant barrier containing the filament tube and the heating element, the desiccant barrier including a plurality of second vent holes through a sidewall of the desiccant barrier;
a cover containing the desiccant barrier; and
a desiccant in a space between the cover and the desiccant barrier, wherein
the filament tube, the desiccant barrier, and the cover comprise nested tubes.
