1. A composition comprising a dried animal feed and a lyophilized isolated bacterial strain comprising Streptococcus strain StrepX3, wherein StrepX3 is the bacterium deposited at the American Type Culture Collection (ATCC) under accession number PTA-127486, and wherein the composition contains at least 108 colony forming units of StrepX3 per serving.
