1. A wound treatment apparatus for use with negative pressure, comprising:
a wound filler for use in treating a wound with negative pressure, comprising:
a top surface layer comprising a wound facing side and an outward facing side, wherein a plurality of bubbles are spread across the wound facing side of the top surface layer; and
a bottom surface layer comprising a wound facing side and an outward facing side, wherein a plurality of bubbles are spread across the outward facing side of the bottom surface layer;
wherein the top surface layer and bottom surface layer are configured to be provided one on top of the other with the bubbles of each layer facing each other; and
wherein upon application of negative pressure to the wound filler, the wound filler is configured to contract in only one horizontal direction.
