1. A system comprising:
a dermal patch comprising a housing configured to attach to a subject's skin,
wherein the housing includes an opening to provide access to the subject's skin when the dermal patch is attached to the subject's skin, and
a lancet separate from the dermal patch and configured for insertion into and withdrawal from the dermal patch, and configured to engage with the opening,
wherein the lancet includes a needle movable from an undeployed position to a deployed position,
wherein in the deployed position, the needle is capable of puncturing the subject's skin to draw a physiological sample.
