1. A system for determining a pulse condition of a patient based on detection of a subpulse thereof, comprising:
a first patient-wearable device for attachment to a first location on a body of the patient. the first patient-wearable device comprising a first accelerometer; and
a second patient-wearable device for attachment to a second location on the body of the patient. the second patient-wearable device comprising:
a base layer comprising a printed circuit board (PCB);
electronics connected to the PCB, the electronics comprising:
a second accelerometer;
a computer that is connected to at least the second accelerometer and processes at least first sensor data generated by the first accelerometer and second sensor data generated by the second accelerometer to detect a presence of the subpulse of the patient, wherein the subpulse corresponds to a systolic blood pressure less than 60 millimeters of mercury (mmHg), wherein the first accelerometer and the second accelerometer have sensitivities suitable to detect the subpulse; and
a user interface component that is connected to the computer and controlled thereby to generate a user-perceptible indication of the pulse condition; and
an adhesive layer that is coupled to the base layer, the adhesive layer comprising an adhesive suitable for attaching the second patient-wearable device to the second location on the body of the patient.
