1. A method performed by a user equipment (UE), the method comprising:
identifying information for a resource pool;
identifying a physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) period within the resource pool; and
selecting a resource for transmission based on the PSFCH period, a time offset between a physical sidelink channel and a PSFCH, a time for a PSFCH reception and decoding, and a time for sidelink retransmission preparation, in case of resource allocation mode 2,
wherein the resource for transmission is selected within a time interval [n+T1, n+T2], where n is a slot in which selecting the resource for transmission is triggered, T1 is associated with UE implementation, and T2 is associated with a packet delay budget.
