1. A vehicle display system for a vehicle, the vehicle display system comprising:
a first display device configured to project a light pattern onto a road surface outside the vehicle;
a second display device inside the vehicle configured to display a virtual image of a predetermined image to an occupant of the vehicle such that the virtual image of the predetermined image is superimposed on a real space outside the vehicle; and
a controller configured to control the first display device and the second display device, wherein,
in a case where both the virtual image of the predetermined image and the light pattern are displayed and can be grasped together by the occupant without changing a focal distance and a display period of the predetermined image overlaps at least in part with a display period of the light pattern at a certain time point, the controller causes a distance from the occupant to the virtual image of the predetermined image to at least in part overlap a distance from the occupant to the light pattern and a range of the virtual image of the predetermined image in the front-rear direction of the vehicle to at least in part overlap with a range of the light pattern on the road surface in the front-rear direction of the vehicle.
