1. A ventilation device control apparatus comprising:
a processor,
the processor being configured to:
acquire a captured image from an image capturing device that captures an image of a target space;
calculate a metabolic rate equivalent amount of a person in the target space, based on the captured image;
calculate a ventilation volume of the target space by a ventilation device that ventilates the target space, based on the metabolic rate equivalent amount;
correct the ventilation volume based on a temporal change of the metabolic rate equivalent amount to obtain a corrected ventilation volume; and
control the ventilation device according to the corrected ventilation volume,
the processor correcting the ventilation volume such that the corrected ventilation volume is larger when the temporal change indicates that the metabolic rate equivalent amount is increasing than when the temporal change indicates that the metabolic rate equivalent amount is decreasing.
