1. A method of inhibiting fungal growth in a subject, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of a pharmaceutical composition comprising Amaranthus hybridus silver nanoparticles, an extract of Amaranthus hybridus, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, wherein the Amaranthus hybridus silver nanoparticles are prepared according to a method comprising:
mixing an extract of Amaranthus hybridus with a silver nitrate solution to provide Amaranthus hybridus silver nanoparticles having a particle size ranging from about 45 nm to about 100 nm.
