1. A method for treating a neurological disease or disorder in a subject in need thereof comprising the steps of:
(i) performing a lumbar puncture; and
(ii) intrathecally administering from 5 to 40 ml of a therapeutic cell suspension at a rate of from 0.1 to 1.5 ml/min,
wherein the therapeutic cell suspension comprises a plurality of human stem cells derived from lamina propria of the oral mucosa, and wherein the amount of the administered cells is from 1×106 to 5×108.
