17. A method of treating tissue, comprising:
loading a first clip assembly on a catheter assembly by coupling a plurality of fingers extending from a proximal end of a first coupler to a distal end of a bushing coupled to a distal end of the catheter assembly and coupling a distal end of the first coupler to a proximal end of the first clip assembly, a control member of the catheter assembly being releasably connected to proximal ends of clip arms of the first clip assembly;
inserting the loaded first clip assembly to a target site within a living body via a working channel of an insertion device;
moving the first clip assembly between a tissue receiving configuration, in which distal ends of the clip arms are separated from one another, and a tissue clipping configuration, in which distal ends of the clip arms are moved toward one another, by moving the control member longitudinally relative to the first clip assembly until a target tissue is gripped therebetween, as desired;
releasing the first clip assembly from the catheter assembly by drawing the control member proximally relative to the clip arms, beyond a predetermined threshold value, so that the first coupler yields to disengage the first clip assembly and at least a portion of the first coupler remains connected to the first catheter assembly; and
loading a further clip assembly on the catheter assembly by coupling a plurality of fingers extending from a proximal end of a further coupler to the distal end of the bushing and coupling a distal end of the further coupler to a proximal end of the further clip assembly, the control member of the catheter assembly being releasably connected to proximal ends of clip arms of the further clip assembly.
