1. A method, comprising:
predicting, by a system comprising a processor, that a user equipment of a group of user equipment in an idle mode will transition to an active mode connection during a time duration, wherein the predicting utilizes data corresponding to an application in use by the user equipment;
identifying, by the system, base station equipment that are able to provide a coverage to the group of user equipment during the time duration; and
based on the predicting the user equipment will transition to the active mode connection at a future time, prioritizing, by the system, an allocation among the base station equipment, of resources to provide a coverage to facilitate the active mode connection by the user equipment to the base station equipment.
