1. A method for a user equipment (UE) to perform synchronization signal block (SSB) based inter-frequency measurements, the method comprising:
configuring the UE to perform inter-frequency measurements without measurement gap (MG) within a measurement window in a time division duplex (TDD) band in a first frequency range (FR1);
applying scheduling restrictions to prioritize the inter-frequency measurements without MG on a neighboring cell over uplink transmissions to a serving cell within the measurement window, wherein the measurement window comprises an SSB measurement timing configuration (SMTC) window duration; and
applying a scheduling restriction due to a synchronization signal (SS) reference signal receive power (SS-RSRP) measurement, an SS reference signal received quality (SS-RSRQ) measurement, or an SS signal-to-noise and interference ratio (SS-SINR) measurement by the UE, wherein the UE is restricted from transmitting a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH), a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH), or a sounding reference signal (SRS) on restricted symbols comprising all symbols within the SMTC window duration.
