1. A method comprising:
receiving, by a device, a piece of three-dimensional (3D) content comprising a plurality of segments, wherein the device comprises a plurality of microdisplays;
determining that a first segment of the plurality of segments comprises a 3D object, wherein the 3D object corresponds to a first location within the first segment;
causing the device to change a first microdisplay of the plurality of microdisplays from a first position to a second position based on the first location of the 3D object within the first segment; and
causing the device to display the first segment comprising the 3D object using the plurality of microdisplays, wherein the first microdisplay is at the second position as the first segment is displayed.
