1. A computer-implemented method, comprising:
receiving a first connection request from a client while in a stable disconnected state;
entering a stable connected state so that the client is connected to a server in response to the first connection request;
identifying a first disconnection from the client after a first time duration in the stable connected state;
entering the stable disconnected state in response to identifying the first disconnection and the first time duration being greater than a first time threshold;
entering an unstable disconnected state in response to identifying the first disconnection and the first time duration being less than the first time threshold;
receiving a second connection request from the client after a second time duration in the unstable disconnected state;
entering an unstable connected state in response to the second connection request and the second time duration being less than a second time threshold; and
resetting a loop count when entering the unstable disconnected state.
