1. A positioning reference signaling configuration method, performed by a location management function (LMF) and comprising:
determining a user equipment (UE) specific positioning reference signaling (PRS) configuration for the UE in response to determining that a cell specific PRS configuration used for positioning of the UE does not meet positioning demands of the UE;
sending the determined UE specific PRS configuration, wherein the UE is configured to ignore the cell specific PRS configuration sent by a base station through a system message in response to determining that the UE receives the UE specific PRS configuration based on a RRC message sent by the base station or long term evolution positioning protocol (LPP) provide assistance data sent by the LMF; and
sending identification information of the UE to which the UE specific PRS configuration is applicable to the base station, wherein the identification information is configured to indicate that the base station sends the UE specific PRS configuration to a UE applicable to the UE specific PRS configuration.
