1. A first communication device for a wireless communication system, wherein the first communication device is configured to:
obtain a first set of noise values based on a set of systematic symbols transmitted in a first channel to a second communication device and a set of corresponding systematic symbols received in a second channel from the second communication device, wherein the set of corresponding systematic symbols is an echoed back version of the set of systematic symbols, wherein the set of systematic symbols is obtained based on modulating a set of information bits of a set of information symbols, and wherein the set of systematic symbols is indexed from k=1, 2, . . . , K, and wherein k is an integer;
perform, for k=1:
generate a first set of parity symbols P1 using a first generator device and based on a first systematic symbol in the set of systematic symbols and a first noise value in the first set of noise values,
transmit the first set of parity symbols P1 in the first channel to the second communication device, and
receive a first set of corresponding parity symbols P1 in the second channel from the second communication device; and
perform, for k=2, . . . , K:
obtain a k−1th set of noise values based on a set of k−1th transmitted parity symbols Pk−1 and a set of k−1th received parity symbols,
generate a k-th set of parity symbols Pk using the first generator device and based on a k-th systematic symbol, k-th to k−Δtxth noise values in the first set of noise values, and k−1 to k−1−γltxth sets of noise values, wherein Δtx and γltx are integers, Δtx denotes a time window for transmitted systematic symbols, γltx denotes a time window for transmitted parity symbols, and γltx corresponds to an l-th parity symbol, wherein l=1, 2, . . . , P and P is a number of parity symbols per information bit of the set of information bits,
transmit the k-th set of parity symbols Pk in the first channel to the second communication device, and
receive a k-th set of corresponding parity symbols Pk in the second channel from the second communication device,
wherein the K-th set of parity symbols enables the second communication device to jointly decode the set of systematic symbols and the K-th set of parity symbols.
