1. A floating connector for use in a floating connector assembly including a first connector electrically connected to first equipment, a second connector electrically connected to second equipment, and a relay connector inserted into the first connector and also inserted into the second connector to electrically connect the first connector and the second connector, wherein
the floating connector includes the relay connector and the first connector,
the relay connector includes a first terminal and a holding member configured to hold the first terminal, the holding member including a holding member spherical part, and
the first connector includes a second terminal, a housing configured to accommodate the second terminal and accommodate at least part of the holding member in a state where the relay connector and the first connector are electrically connected, an opening where the relay connector is insertable and formed in a second part in an opposite side to a first part disposed in the housing on a second connector side in the state where the first connector and the second connector are electrically connected through the relay connector, and a stopper part formed in the first part of the housing, the stopper part including a stopper part spherical part, wherein the stopper part and the holding member are in spherical contact via the stopper part spherical part and the holding member spherical part, and the stopper part spherical part is configured to catch the holding member spherical part so as to prevent the holding member from coming out of the first part of the housing in a state where the housing accommodates at least part of the holding member, and wherein the relay connector is rotatable relative to the first connector by the spherical contact between the stopper part spherical part and the holding member spherical part.
