1. A system for coupling a coaxial transmission line with a micro-strip, the system comprising:
the coaxial transmission line that includes a shield that surrounds a conductor across a first length of the coaxial transmission line and across a second length of the coaxial transmission line, wherein a cross-section of an interior of the coaxial transmission line within the shield has a first shape across the first length of the coaxial transmission line, wherein the cross-section of the interior of the coaxial transmission line within the shield has a second shape across the second length of the coaxial transmission line, wherein the second shape is different from the first shape, wherein the second shape is a semicircular shape, wherein a dielectric substance surrounds the conductor between the conductor and the shield across the second length of the coaxial transmission line, and wherein the conductor is offset from a central axis of the coaxial transmission line within at least a portion of at least the second length of the coaxial transmission line;
a connector that couples the micro-strip to the conductor of the coaxial transmission line, wherein the second length of the coaxial transmission line is between the connector and the first length of the coaxial transmission line; and
the micro-strip that is coupled to a low-noise amplifier (LNA), wherein electromagnetic field lines corresponding to the coaxial transmission line flow into the micro-strip to convey at least one energy packet through the micro-strip and to the LNA.
