1. A method, comprising:
using a sensor of a vehicle, recording data associated with a first movement and a second movement of a first occupant in an interior of the vehicle;
using a processor of the vehicle, determining a first maximum range of extension of the first occupant and a first amount of time between the first movement and the second movement; and
using the processor, assigning the first occupant to a first age group based on the first maximum range of extension and the first amount of time.
