1. A computer-implemented method comprising:
receiving a plurality of item listings, each item listing describing a respective item for sale in an electronic marketplace, each item listing including a plurality of attributes;
for a first item listing, of the plurality of item listings, marking a subset of attributes, of the plurality of attributes, as selectable by a user to remove a corresponding item listing, wherein at least one other attribute not included in the subset of attributes is not selectable by the user to remove the corresponding item listing;
subsequent to the marking, receiving a query for a first item that is for sale in the electronic marketplace, the query being issued at a computing device associated with a user;
in response to the receiving of the query and based at least in part on the marking of the subset of attributes as selectable, providing, to the computing device, a first set of item listings, of the plurality of item listings, associated with the first item, the first set of item listings are indicative of search results for the query, the first set of item listings including the first item listing, the first item listing including a selectable user interface element corresponding to the subset of attributes marked as selectable;
subsequent to the providing of the first set of item listings, receiving an indication that the user has selected the selectable user interface element, the selection being indicative of the user requesting direct removal, from the search results, of the first item listing and the selection being further indicative of the user requesting removal of each item listing that has the subset of attributes; and
based at least in part on the selection of the user interface element, automatically causing removal of at least the first item listing and a second item listing as search results for the query.
