1. A method comprises:
storing, by a digital asset backing computing entity of a digital asset-based interaction system, system digital assets to back interactions of one or more computing entities of the digital asset-based interaction system;
obtaining, by a digital asset-based interaction computing entity of the digital asset-based interaction system, pre-authorization hold first computing entity information and pre-authorization hold second computing entity information regarding initiation of a pre-authorization hold digital asset-based interaction between a first and second computing entity of the one or more computing entities, wherein the pre-authorization hold first computing entity information includes an indication of a digital asset the first computing entity intends to use in a future payment to the second computing entity, and wherein the pre-authorization hold second computing entity information includes an indication that a pre-authorization hold is required, a pre-authorization hold time period, and a pre-authorization hold amount;
obtaining, by the digital asset-based interaction computing entity, external data regarding the digital asset from one or more external data sources;
analyzing, by the digital asset-based interaction computing entity, one or more of: the external data, the pre-authorization hold time period, and the pre-authorization hold amount to determine a pre-authorization hold procedure, wherein the pre-authorization hold procedure includes one or more of an over-collateralization procedure and an over-holding procedure, and wherein the pre-authorization hold procedure is operable to determine an amount of digital asset and an amount of system digital asset to hold;
locking, by the digital asset-based interaction computing entity, the amount of system digital asset to back the digital asset in accordance with the pre-authorization hold procedure;
locking, by the digital asset-based interaction computing entity, the amount of the digital asset for the future payment in accordance with the pre-authorization hold procedure; and
sending, by the digital asset-based interaction computing entity, a confirmation to the second computing entity, wherein the confirmation includes an indication that the pre-authorization hold digital asset-based interaction is successful.
