1. A method, comprising:
receiving a plurality of tags associated with a media content item from a device;
determining, by an automated approval process, whether the tag is granted approval;
for all the approved tags, organizing them in a hierarchical order, wherein the hierarchical order comprises having a tag with a generic label placed higher in the hierarchical order and a tag that is detailed and related to the generic label as a child of the generic word in the hierarchical order; and
displaying a tag path on the device, wherein the tag path provides navigation through the generated hierarchical order of approved tags and selection of a tag from the tag path navigates to a play position in the media content item associated with the selected tag.
