1. An illumination device for vehicles, the illumination device comprising:
a first headlamp and a second headlamp, each of said first and second headlamps including:
an imaging unit for generating a multitude of light pixels (P11, P12, . . . Pnm) that can be actuated individually;
a lens unit containing a lens arrangement with a number of lenses arranged in a fixed manner to each other by which the light pixels (P11, P12, . . . Pnm) of the imaging unit are mapped to focused light spots (F11, F12, F11′, F12′) at a specified distance; and
an actuator unit for actuating the imaging unit,
wherein the first headlamp is arranged in a first corner area of the vehicle and the second headlamp is arranged in a second corner area of the vehicle,
wherein the respective light pixels (P11, P12, . . . Pnm) of the imaging unit of the first headlamp and of the second headlamp are mapped to be focused at different distances.
