1. A revolving door for temporarily closing a gap between first and second enclosing structures comprising base portion in the shape of a complete circle, an upper portion, and a rotating assembly extending between the base portion and the upper portion, and at least one door panel connected to the rotating assembly and being rotatably arranged around a central axis, a first sidewall portion on a first side of the rotating assembly arranged in connection with the first enclosing structure, and a second sidewall portion on a second side of the rotating assembly arranged in connection with the second enclosing structure, wherein the revolving door further comprises one or more lifting means for lifting the revolving door and placing the door between the first and second enclosing structures, wherein said lifting means are arranged at the base portion, and wherein the lifting means comprises a first pair of two parallel grooves, each groove extending as a chord from one side of the base portion directly to the opposite side of the base portion, wherein each groove is configured to receive a lifting member.
