1. A lock, comprising:
a latch;
an electromagnet configured to open the latch in response to a first voltage being applied across the electromagnet;
a normally closed switch configured to be opened by a first magnetic force in response to the first voltage being applied across the electromagnet; and
a normally open switch configured to be closed by a second magnetic force in response to the first voltage being applied across the electromagnet.
