1. A light emitting element comprising:
a first electrode;
a second electrode on the first electrode; and
at least one functional layer between the first electrode and the second electrode and comprising a polycyclic compound represented by Formula 1:

X1, X2, and X3 are each independently Rx or represented by Substituent S1, and at least one of X1, X2, or X3 is represented by Substituent S1,
Rx and R1 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a deuterium atom, a halogen atom, a cyano group, a substituted or unsubstituted silyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted amine group, a substituted or unsubstituted oxy group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring-forming carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl group having 2 to 50 ring-forming carbon atoms, and/or are bonded to an adjacent group to form a ring,
a is an integer of 0 to 5, and
Ar1 and Ar2 are each independently a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring-forming carbon atoms,

L2 is a direct linkage, a substituted or unsubstituted arylene group having 6 to 50 ring-forming carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heteroarylene group having 2 to 50 ring-forming carbon atoms,
wherein, when X1 is represented by Substituent S1 and Y1 is represented by L2Z, L2 is a direct linkage,
wherein, when X1 is represented by Substituent S1 and Y2 is represented by L2Z, Z is a substituted carbazole group,
in Substituent S1, “—*” is a position connected to a benzene ring in Formula 1, and
Z is represented by Substituent S2,
