1. A polypeptide unit, wherein the polypeptide unit:
(1) consists of proline, alanine and glutamic acid;
(2) contains at least 50% of alpha-helix secondary structures, as calculated by the Chou-Fasman algorithm; and
(3) has a length greater than or equal to 15-100 amino acids.
