1. A sphingolipid represented by Chemical Formula 1:

wherein:
R1 is CH2—CH2, CH═CH, or C(H) R4—CH2;
R2 is a saturated or unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group of 12 to 28 carbon atoms;
R3 is a saturated or unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group of 12 to 28 carbon atoms substituted or unsubstituted with a hydroxyl group; and
a plurality of R4's are the same as or different from each other and are each independently an aliphatic acyl group of 1 to 6 carbon atoms or a hydroxyl (OH) group,
provided that at least one of the plurality of R4's contains at least an aliphatic acyl group of 1 to 6 carbon atoms.
