1. A textured glass-based article comprising:
a glass-based substrate comprising a first major surface and a second major surface, the first major surface opposite the second major surface;
wherein at least a portion of one or both of the first major surface and the second major surface is textured and comprises surface features extending into a depth of the glass-based substrate, wherein the portion of the one or both of the first major surface and the second major surface that are textured have a roughness Ra of from 110 nm to 270 nm, and wherein the portion of the one or both of the first major surface and the second major surface that are textured have:
a sparkle at 140 ppi of less than or equal to 5%; and
an uncoupled distinctness-of-image of at least 90%.
