1. A thermoelectric material, comprising:
a n-type Mg3.2Bi(2-x-y)SbxTey Zintl phase compound, wherein x=from 0.1 to 0.7 and y=0.002, or 0.004, and wherein the Mg3.2Bi(2-x-y)SbxTey Zintl phase compound exhibits a ZT of about 0.9 at about 350 K and a Seebeck coefficient that is negative and has an absolute value of at least 100 μV K−1 at about 350 K.
