1. A binding machine, comprising:
a wire feeder configured to feed a wire in a first direction;
a curl guide unit forming a wire feeding path for winding, around objects to be bound, the wire fed in the first direction by the wire feeder, the curl guide unit being configured to impart a curl to the wire;
a binding unit including a wire locking body that locks the wire and a rotation shaft that rotatably supports the wire locking body, the binding unit configured to bind the wire by twisting, by rotating the rotation shaft, the wire wound around the objects to be bound with the curl guide unit; and
a controller configured to control the wire feeder and the binding unit,
wherein the wire feeder includes
a pair of feed members configured to clamp the wire and feed the wire by a rotation operation, and
a feed motor configured to drive the pair of feed members to feed the wire in the first direction,
wherein the controller sets a state of the binding machine from a first state to a second state of feeding the wire in the first direction at a predetermined rotation speed, when the wire is inserted into a position where the wire is feedable in the first direction by the pair of feed members, thereby performing a loading operation, and
wherein the first state is a state of feeding the wire in the first direction at a rotation speed lower than the predetermined rotation speed.
