1. A method for a vehicle configured to tow a trailer, comprising:
receiving, by a processor, image data from one or more image sensors of the vehicle;
determining, by the processor, a change in vehicle height based on the image data;
determining, by the processor, at least one of a vehicle load and a trailer tongue load based on the change in vehicle height;
determining a road grade angle from global positioning data, and scaling, by the processor, the at least one of the vehicle load and the trailer tongue load based on the road grade angle;
generating, by the processor, control data to control the vehicle based on the at least one of the vehicle load and the trailer tongue load; and
automatically controlling the vehicle, via the processor, based on the control data, using the at least one of the vehicle load and the trailer tongue load.
