1. Headgear for a respiratory interface, comprising:
a rear part of the headgear;
a pair of upper side straps;
a pair of lower side straps;
a top strap;
a hook connector provided to each of the pair of lower side straps, the hook connector comprising a hook portion, an elongate tab and a slot-shaped opening positioned between the hook portion and the elongate tab, the hook connector having a frontmost edge defined by the hook portion, a rearmost edge defined by the elongate tab, and a length direction extending between the frontmost edge and the rearmost edge, the hook portion defining an arcuate portion that curves around an axis that is perpendicular to the length direction, the hook portion having a free end located between the frontmost edge and the rearmost edge, the elongate tab including a gripping surface that is elongate in the length direction;
each of the lower side straps being configured to pass through the respective slot-shaped opening, fold back on itself, and affix to itself, forming a strap loop such that the elongate tab of the hook connector provided to each of the pair of lower side straps lies within a respective strap loop and the length direction of the hook connector is aligned with a length direction of the respective lower side strap, wherein the elongate tab of the hook connector provided to each of the pair of lower side straps together with a respective folded strap is configured to be grasped to engage or disengage the hook connector; and
wherein a first distance in the length direction between the rearmost edge of the hook connector and a rear edge of the slot-shaped opening is greater than a second distance in the length direction between the rear edge of the slot-shaped opening and a rearmost edge of the free end of the hook portion.
