1. A surgical laser system, comprising:
a plurality of laser sources each configured to be controllably activated to generate respective laser outputs;
a feedback analyzer configured to:
receive a reflected signal from a target in a patient's anatomy in response to electromagnetic radiation directed at the target; and
analyze the reflected signal to determine a characteristic of the target; and
a controller configured to selectively activate two or more of the plurality of laser sources in accordance with the determined characteristic, and to produce a combined laser output delivered to the target.
