1. A medical device comprising:
a housing defining one or more cells, each cell including a plurality of staples including a first staple in a staple-ready position and a second staple;
a staple driver moveable (i) from a first position to a second position to drive the first staple from the housing, and (ii) from the second position to the first position, wherein the staple driver includes a wedge positioned such that as the staple driver moves from the first position to the second position, the wedge ejects the first staple from its respective cell; and
a reset mechanism configured to advance the second staple contained within each cell to the staple-ready position after ejecting the first staple,
wherein the wedge includes a first edge and a second edge defining a V-shape,
wherein the first edge is configured to eject the first staple from its respective cell as the staple driver moves from the first position to the second position,
wherein the second edge is configured to drive the second staple from its respective cell as the staple driver moves from the second position to the first position after the ejecting the first staple.
