1. A system, comprising:
an intravascular imaging device configured to obtain intravascular imaging data while the intravascular imaging device is positioned within a blood vessel;
a processing system;
a patient interface module (PIM) communicatively disposed between the processing system and the intravascular imaging device; and
a charging base,
wherein the PIM comprises a power source and a wireless transmitter,
wherein the PIM is configured to be in an operating mode or a charging mode,
wherein in the operating mode of the PIM:
the PIM is configured for communication with the intravascular imaging device; and
the PIM is configured for communication with the processing system, wherein in the charging mode of the PIM:
the charging base is configured to charge the power source of the PIM;
the PIM is configured to not have the communication with the intravascular imaging device; and
the PIM is configured for the communication with the processing system, wherein the communication with the intravascular imaging device comprises:
the PIM controlling of the intravascular imaging device to obtain the intravascular imaging data; and
the PIM receiving the intravascular imaging data obtained by the intravascular imaging device,
wherein the communication with processing system comprises the PIM transmitting, with the wireless transmitter, the intravascular imaging data to the processing system,
wherein the processing system comprises:
a wireless receiver configured to receive the intravascular imaging data transmitted by the wireless transmitter of the PIM; and
a processor configured to generate an intravascular image of the blood vessel based on the intravascular imaging data and output the intravascular image to a display.
