controlling an image capturing apparatus to acquire user-image data and device-image data, the user-image data including the user's face and a body portion of the user other than the face, the device-image data including the body portion of the user and the at least one device;
authenticating the user's face based on the acquired user-image data;
authenticating the at least one device based on the acquired device-image data;
determining whether the at least one device is worn by the user based on a relationship between the body portion of the user in the user-image data and the body portion of the user in the device-image data and a positional relationship between the body portion of the user and the at least one device in the device-image data;
determining, after the user and the at least one device are authenticated, that a period in which the at least one device is determined to be worn by the user is a period of a proper state for measurement by the at least one device;
acquiring first user-image data, n-th user-image data, and the device-image data, the first user-image data including the user's face and a first body portion of the user other than the face, the n-th user-image data including an (n−1)-th body portion of the user and an n-th body portion of the user, the device-image data including the n-th body portion of the user and the at least one device, the (n−1)-th body portion of the user being other than the face, the n-th body portion of the user being other than the (n−1)-th body portion, where n is an integer equal to 2 or larger;
authenticating the user's face based on the first user-image data and authenticating the at least one device based on the device-image data; and
determining whether the at least one device is worn by the user based on a relationship between the first body portion of the user other than the face in the first user-image data and the (n−1)-th body portion of the user in the n-th user-image data, a relationship between the n-th body portion of the user in the n-th user-image data and the n-th body portion of the user in the device-image data, and a positional relationship between the n-th body portion of the user and the at least one device in the device-image data.
