16. A method comprising:
receiving, from a camera disposed in a medical imaging device bay and having a field of view that includes a controller of a medical imaging device disposed in the medical imaging device bay, a video of a controller display of the medical imaging device;
displaying the video of the controller display of the medical imaging device at a workstation display which is remote from the medical imaging device bay;
extracting successive image frames from the video of the controller display of the medical imaging device;
screen-scraping information related to one or more settings of the medical imaging device used in a medical imaging examination from the successive image frames over the course of the medical imaging examination, the one or more settings of the medical imaging device including one or more of an examination dialog screen, a scan selection dialog screen, a scan settings dialog screen, or an acquisition monitoring dialog screen;
receiving a screen sharing of the controller display of the medical imaging device, wherein the screen sharing comprises screen mirroring data generated by the controller;
maintaining status information of the medical imaging examination at least in part using the screen-scraped information; and
displaying the screen sharing and the status information of the medical imaging examination at the workstation display which is remote from the medical imaging device bay.
