1. A lure holder, comprising:
a first plate portion having an elongated plate shape with two longitudinal edges, and top and bottom end edges, and made of an elastic material;
a second plate portion, opposite the first plate portion, and having an elongated plate shape with two longitudinal edges, and top and bottom end edges, and made of an elastic material, wherein the longitudinal edges of the first plate portion are connected to the opposite longitudinal edges of the second plate portion forming a tube having a width and a spindle-shaped cross section, open top and bottom ends defined by the respective top and bottom end edges of the plate portions, and an interior extending longitudinally between the top and bottom ends and the opposed plate portions; and
a plurality of elastic tongues extending from one, but not both, of the bottom end edge of the first plate portion or the bottom end edge of the second plate portion, wherein the tongues each have an extended length greater than the tube width between the first and second plate portions, wherein the tongues are reversibly folded or foldable into the interior of the tube to be elastically retained or retainable therein against the opposite plate portion within the interior of the tube, and wherein the tongues, when so folded, do not block the open bottom end of the tube.
