1. A method for wireless communication, the method comprising:
receiving, by an apparatus, a radio resource control (RRC) signaling carrying a configuration for two or more bandwidth parts, wherein each of the two or more bandwidth parts is a portion or all of a system bandwidth of a serving cell, and wherein the two or more bandwidth parts include a first bandwidth part and a second bandwidth part,
the configuration indicating a first numerology of the first bandwidth part, a first starting frequency domain location of the first bandwidth part, and a first frequency domain length of the first bandwidth part, the configuration further indicating a second numerology of the second bandwidth part, a second starting frequency domain location of the second bandwidth part, and a second frequency domain length of the second bandwidth part, wherein the first numerology and the second numerology are bandwidth part-specific numerologies, the configuration carried by the RRC signaling further indicating a first modulation and coding scheme (MCS) for a first grant-free uplink transmission over a first data channel within the first bandwidth part and a second MCS for a second grant-free uplink transmission over a second data channel within the second bandwidth part, wherein the first MCS and the second MCS are bandwidth part-specific MCSs; and
performing, by the apparatus, a grant-free uplink transmission without dynamic grant according to the configuration over a data channel in an active bandwidth part of the two or more bandwidth parts.
