1. A method comprising:
recording voice data of a first user connected to a conference session while the first user is attempting to talk to other participants of the conference session;
displaying, for a time limit, a selectable indicator to the first user indicating that their voice data is not being transmitted to the rest of the participants of the conference session; and
in response to the first user selecting the selectable indicator within the time limit, initiating playback of the recorded voice data of the first user to the rest of the participants of the conference session.
 
8. A system comprising control circuitry configured to:
record voice data of a first user connected to a conference session while the first user is attempting to talk to other participants of the conference session;
display, for a time limit, a selectable indicator to the first user indicating that their voice data is not being transmitted to the rest of the participants of the conference session; and
in response to the first user selecting the selectable indicator within the time limit, initiate playback of the recorded voice data of the first user to the rest of the participants of the conference session.
 
15. A non-transitory computer-readable medium having non-transitory computer-readable instructions encoded thereon that, when executed by control circuitry, cause the control circuitry to:
record voice data of a first user connected to a conference session while the first user is attempting to talk to other participants of the conference session;
display, for a time limit, a selectable indicator to the first user indicating that their voice data is not being transmitted to the rest of the participants of the conference session; and
in response to the first user selecting the selectable indicator within the time limit, initiate playback of the recorded voice data of the first user to the rest of the participants of the conference session.
