1. A base station in a wireless communication system, the base station comprising:
at least one processor; and
at least one memory including computer program code, wherein the at least one memory and the computer program code are configured, with the at least one processor, to cause the base station to at least:
generate a sounding reference signal (SRS) configuration message for a user equipment to transmit SRS to the base station on corresponding time-frequency resources, wherein the SRS configuration message indicates a starting position of each of a plurality of SRS resources, a number of orthogonal frequency division multiplex (OFDM) symbols occupied by the each of the plurality of SRS resources, and information of SRS frequency hopping, and
wherein a comb offset for an SRS of the plurality of SRS resources is set to be an integer larger than 2 and smaller than a first value and included in the SRS configuration message, the SRS is to be transmitted by the user equipment on every first value of subcarriers.
